Quick report
Large natural wet loose avalanches appeared to be isolated this past weekend. I suspect human-triggered avalanches would have been likely and size would have often been D1 but long slopes would have enough volume to grow to large sizes. The natural activity was not significant likely due to the slow warm-up this past week allowing the snowpack to adjust each day as temps climbed over the week.
A few wet loose avalanches from Saturday.Weather
Very warm temperatures at the valley bottom. Felt like the warmest day this spring.
