Quick report
Rode over to get a look at the southwest side of the Ruby Range to see if its been having the same persistent slab issues that we've been documenting on S to W aspects ATL in our shallow zone. Although I didn't spot any recent avalanches breaking on old layers, the northerly wind events last week have left southwest facing alpine terrain features looking unusually loaded; slopes that I would stay away from given the pattern of avalanches happening in the adjacent zone.
No signs of instability underfoot where we traveled; lots of rollerballs and small wet loosies on southerlies.Weather

The holiday slab below 9,500' has generally faceted away, and slab instabilities below that elevation appear to be isolated now.

There were a few wet loosies that ran yesterday, and numerous small wet loose avalanches ran today on southerly aspects, typically from very steep, rocky terrain. One triggered a shallow soft slab slab on Richmond.
