No signs of insability observed. Gusty wind out of the WSW. We rode low angle trees on the n side of the ridge. Ski qualuty was generally good with fast surface facets on top of supportable snow. Ski penitration 5-10cm boot penitration 75cm or to base of snowpack. Snow pit in open low angle SE facing slope. Snow depth was 75cm CT11 failed on basal facets non-planar fracture. (Repeated with same results) ECTN 19 ECTX Snowpack transitioned from fist hard at surface to 4 fingers down 15cm gradually transitioning to1 finger down 50cm, then to 4 finger/ fist at 70 cm
