Snowpack
On the high N 11100ft down to 10000ft remained dry all day, the new snow from our last impulse was all graupel sitting on a spongy base on the high N, quality skiing. Below that elevation and on off aspects the graupel was resting on a frozen bed surface that became a bit punchy with warming. The lower elevations were damp by the end of the day but not exceedingly and coming out to the White Pine trail head was pleasant for this time of year. We did not note any real wet activity not even roller balling. With no windslabs in the high alpine and zero wet activity I would say the hazard was a solid low today but might rise to moderate with heating tomorrow.
