Quick Observation
Track up shoulder valley was tough with large deposits filling most of the bowl, had to finish with a boot pack up the guts due to the whole face under ridge line having flushed down to rock/ crust. Large cornices present ridge top that require some careful management in order to reach the boot packs on the backside of MacDonald. Conditions in the couloir were surprisingly great.
Weather
Day started snowy and grey with very low vis, but got progressively better eventually clearing right before our descent into banana couloir.
Snowpack
40cm of low density snow on top of very firm consolidated base in the couloir, transitioning to dust on crust at exi down through TL and into enjoyable soft powder BTL
