Noon crew

Today we found pockets of instabilities with shooting cracks in the wind affected snow varying from 10-25cm deep. The recent storm snow is sitting on a crust down 20-30cm depending on aspect. We also found pockets of really good snow. No recent avalanches were noted. The variable winds have loaded all aspects at ridge tops. Best riding was found in dense trees or areas sheltered from the wind.
