Quick Observation

Warm and wet at Fraser Chutes. New damp snowfall changed things up a bit. Snow was heavy but manageable to pull some nice turns off. Lots of small point release loose wet slides. More info in the Snowpack and Weather tab. See snow profile on images or here: https://snowpilot.org/node/15543

Weather

Warm day, partly cloudy, minor snowfall, no rain as of 15:00

Snowpack

Storm snow (20cm) sits on top of crust from the past two weeks. Compression tests showed easy results for the storm snow (CTE4 (PC) down 20, ECTN2 down 20cm), but they were progressive collapse and no propagation. A deep tap test on the 76cm (down) layer showed no results (confirmed with a second test). Snowpack is becoming isothermal seen by the temp profile and rounded grains.
