Quick Observation
No freeze overnight treeline and below. Warm powder made for good skiing but will be crusty tomorrow on all aspects up to 2500m. Good coverage as multiple rain crusts are bridging the shallow snowpack. A couple size 1.5 dry loose came out of the high alpine off east aspect but didn't travel far into the fan. A few size 1 wind slabs pulled out from similar dry loose avalanches earlier in the week around 2550m. Dug a snow profile on sw aspect at 2420m, HS 65cm, found 2 buried rain/temperature crusts that were well bonded but got med and hard compression test results(sudden collapse) on loose facets on the ground(4F).
