Rolling In The Deep

Deep out there today, 70+ cm at top of tee bar and still snowing. 40cm at lodge turning to light drizzle in the afternoon. Hand pits produced very easy results down 15cm within the storm snow, did not test bond to old surface way below that. No avy activity in what we skied but we skied terrain just steep enough to get the speed for turns. Verbal from others that steeper terrain did slide. Alpine wind was coming up the skeena valley, local wind was coming up the shames valley. Increasing gustieness in the early afternoon and swirling around a bit.
