No pain at Cain

We headed up to Mt. Cain today to check out treeline and alpine. We could not drive to the parking lot due to deep snow on the road. Coverage at treeline was in great shape for some cautious early season turns, a few small trees that are easily avoidable. We had a mix of sun and cloud with 20 cm of low density blower sitting on a beefy supportive crust. Our snowpack tests yielded some results below the crust but it seems like the crust is doing a good job of holding the snowpack together. We didn't see any evidence of avalanche activity.
