Ast 2 weather observations

Moderate snowfall rates in the morning yielded to mix of sun and cloud in the afternoon, cold and blustery Ridge top winds. See the other report for Kirkup for the small slab avalanche details. New snow really helped make riding on top the crust better than we anticipated.

Snow capping around 10cms at treeline. Moderate winds, light but occasionally gusty below treeline. Summit region definitely wind scoured on the west side, cornices formed on east side.
