A quick skin up Gorbys to Ridge 2000 on this sub arctic tuesday lead to marginal skiing and alder lashings. The chosen north facing chute was ski cut and a 20cm thick and 10m wide wind slab released. The remainder of the chute was wind pressed and made it hard for me to ski like Sam Kuch. The lower trees in the drainage felt like a treat as we descended into an alder infested gully. Watch out for the alders, as they are out for blood.
