Rough riding conditions at Bryant lake

Went for a ride to the notch at Bryant Lake today. Strong northerly winds over the previous 48 hours have redistributed 5 cm of new snow and any other snow that was available for transport into fresh wind slabs. Riding conditions were grim with soft snow existing in only the most sheltered of places. We observed pockets of wind slab in lee features that had failed during the strong winds last night.
