Not great riding conditions even after the recent snowfall. Lots of small trees still exposed. Almost riding on rock along exposed, windswept ridges.

Loose snow from recent snowfall on well consolidated now, noticed several layers shoveling the pit, but the column had a sudden planar failure at 130 cm from the surface with the block staying in one chunk after being toppled over.
