40cm total snow accumulation in this area over the past 48hrs. Snow is right side up with stiffer snow from Thursday below the lower density that fell over the past 12hours. There was a brief lifting of the cloud today that gave us an opportunity to see the alpine where we could see some older storm slab avalanche activity. There was a moderate to strong SE wind that was transporting the new snow into lee features.
