Two 3cm MF crusts in upper 30cms otherwise extremely solid 1f-p midpack. Only dug 150cm down. Ctm below upper crust down 10cm otherwise nothing but a sore hand. Surface snow is generally very crusty. Alpine temps did not soften most of the surface snow today. Below 1800m snow was very wet and loose (isothermal) sledding was difficult at this elevation. Sun was very hot when out for its brief moments.
