Quick Observation

Went back to do Cleveland-Feather loop under bluebird skies. Good melt-freeze cycle and sled highway made for easy travel towards pass between NE-NW glacier. Did one lap on a rib just W (skiers' left) of the old size 2 in the N bowl and found some decent dry snow. Went up to Cleveland SE and skied down a shaded pocket down the NW glacier and found similar snow conditions. We did observe some wet sluff that ran quite far and low coming off the SW facing steep slope on our traverse over the moraine to access the link-up drainage towards Feather. These originated from intense solar radiation/heating. Keep an eye out on your watch and temperature. We did one more lap on a S facing ridge with an inch of corn snow over a strong & supportive midpack. Skied back down to the car over a crust trying to stay clear of the sled highway as best as we could.
