Field Team Back in Action!

First day in the field! Found good early season supportive sledding - The rain crust from two weeks ago is down 20-30 cm and has powder on top. Total snowpack in the area is around 80-130 cm in the alpine/treeline. We had no results with tests in our snow pit at treeline. Saw no signs of recent avalanches but suspect there are pockets of windslabs lingering in the alpine.
