Went up the teddy bear trees to have a quick escape with the uncertainty of the storm. Graupel showed heavily for over an hour and was loading and triggering micro features as we went up. Stopped about 100 m from the treeline since the terrain looks steep and we saw some shooting cracks and slab features in the new snow. On our ride down we were easily triggering features on steep terrain. It was more reactive than we had thought and made us happy we stuck to skiing in the trees. Any terrain over ~30 degrees would release on the storm slab (15-20cm) but didn't have the density to propogate too far.
