- <p>I had two loud collapses ascending west facing slope at about 9800 ft. in some what wind effected terrain.</p>
Travel from 7500 - 10,200, west thru north slope angles to 35 degrees. Generally stable conditions in the area. South aspects will be wind loaded in upper elevation open terrain.
Snowpack
Surface hoar at low elevations and near surface faceting observed. Dense, wind effected snow on exposed west aspects.
