Kootenay Pass

Had a bit of everything today, wind packed, wind scoured with lots of wind slabs on south aspects. Most ridgelines were scoured and crusty in places. Good powder skiing in the trees. We saw no signs of any recent avalanche activity. Snow was quite slabby which made it hard to climb over wind deposits on steep ridgelines. We heard no settlements in the snow.
