Rohr lake area

We rode mostly SW aspects. Snow quality was excellent deep sugary powder in sheltered lightly treed slopes between 1800-1500m. above that or in areas exposed to heavy wind, snow was very wind affected. Alpine looked extremely wind scoured. We noticed roughly 10cm thick wind slabs which were very reactive to rider weight and shattering underneath our skis. Also noticed hollow drum-like sounds while on the uptrack in wind affected areas.
