Quick Observation

Sunshine and calm to very light southerly winds made for fun skiing in square pow (facets) and excellent views. We saw surface hoar from valley bottom to ridge crest. The Nov 21 layer was down 40 on E and W facing slopes at 2000m and not doing anything. So far it's just an interface of size 1mm facets over the snow pack base of low density size 2mm (and growing!) facets. So we were comfortable skiing all the sunny tree line slopes we could while the sun lasted.
