<p>AST1 course field day. Skinned up to 750M through dense trees. Temps: +2 @400m, 0@750m. Winds calm with broken skies. 35cm HST. No signs of instability. Stability testing produced Moderate to Hard, resistant planar results down 135cm on FC/MfCr interface. Rapid warming to +5 towards the end of the day. HS ~160cm, alders not quite filled in yet. Wet heavy snow made for less-pleasant skiing down with soft+++ landings.</p>
