Black Prince Area

Spent a beautiful day out in the black prince area. The day started very cold (~ -20) at the car and got significantly warmer above treeline. When ever you returned to valley bottom though it was frigid once again. There were no winds and completely sunny all day. Snow was variable everywhere we skied. In alpine areas we got wind affected crust, sun crust, powder and very thin areas. In the trees there were at times good snow in sheltered areas but you are riding backseat trying to make sure you do not get snagged by brush or alders. Great day to be outside but pretty garbage skiing, still needs some more snow!
