• No major signs of instability, aside from the small induced slide. • Approximately 1-2” of new snow covering previous ski tracks. • Some wind deposited snow observed • Cautious travel, mainly due to limited visibility and careful consideration of terrain. • The small slide notwithstanding, the snow didn’t exhibit many indicators of instability (limited cracking with not much propagation, no whumphing, etc)

• Location - 47.46297° N, 121.45904° W • Aspect - NE slope • Elevation - 4,800’ • Recency - 11:30am on January 2nd • Triggered slide • Type: windslab • No one caught • Size D0.5 (D1) & R1 • Notes - Avalanche crown (approx 8” deep) propagated approximately 40’ in length and wrapped around the small terrain feature. Photos show the extent of the runout and an approximation of the depth & cracking.
