Quick report

The snow was ripe and ready to push as early as 8:30 this morning on E and S aspects. We were able to push small slides on steep slopes while skinning south of the highway during this period. Shaded slopes on north-west aspects held on with a superficial freeze a bit longer. We had wonderful corn skiing on a north facing aspect around 11:45. It didn't last long, lower down and as we wrapped aspect, it quickly got heavy and pushable again. Later in the day, snow was heavy and saturated on most slopes. Easy to trigger wet slides throughout the day.

Avalanche

Plenty of wet loose slides up to size D1. Both natural and human-triggered. One possible slab observed across the valley.
