2 foot of new with moderate winds near treeline, below treeline winds were light. Large slide paths are still broken up due to shallow cover. Small, loaded terrain features and steep convexities above 7k NW-NE were the most sensitive. Good storm day in the mountains, fairly quiet snowpack in the morning. Intermittent snowfall throughout the day, S-1 - S2. Mid day during an uptick in precipitation, the snowpack reached a tipping point in areas and became more vocal with increased collapsing.

Snowpack
HS 120-180cm, HST 60 cm. Warm temps yesterday apparent in the lower portion of the new storm load. Very light and low density snowfall. South and west are still shallow under the new snow. NW-NE falls on a structurally challenged pack with multiple rain/facet crusts.
Avalanche
Two separate events. Same area, 7.4k' NW. SS-ASu-R1/D1. Shallow, rocky and faceted outcroppings were the trigger points and the old/new interface was the bed surface. Confined by terrain and shallow snowpack.
