Quick report
We felt the strong heat of the sun and above average temps and we’re shedding layers….at 7783’ at 2pm it was 41 degrees F (+5 Celsius).Other than the recent small wet loose activity we did not see any other signs of instability, we did however observe a springlike saturated snowpack on the surface that only penetrated the upper foot on the South and down to only about 3 inches on aspects facing North.

It stayed sunny and warm with calm to light SW winds.
Snowpack
We had hard failures in compression about a foot down (CT21SP) that did not propagate in an extended column test (ECTN 23&27).
Avalanche
We saw numerous small relatively harmless D-1 wet loose point releases within the upper 4-6” on multiple aspects and elevations.
