Quick report
Wet loose on the southern aspects. By what we observed today, only southern slopes are showing signs of loose wet instability. This problem seems to be limited to slopes with heavy amounts of solar radiation, but could become more and more apparent on adjacent slopes as the warming and high pressure continues.

Snowpack
Much of Tahoe's snowpack was formed over one or two storm events (depending on elevation). We didn't dig a pit in Tallac, so we don't have a full understanding of the layers within the snowpack. The area with observed avalanches had a total HS of around 20-30cm's, probably all from the last storm event.
