Quick report

Cracking
specific

A lot of very soft snow overlying weak snow. Recent storm snow has formed a slab in some areas and is resting atop weak layers that were buried earlier this month and in early December. This slab is most prevalent in wind-affected terrain. The most problematic layers continue to prove to be facets/crusts, and buried surface hoar from earlier this month. 2-3 feet of low-density snow from this week. Numerous shooting cracks for snowmobilers on steep test slopes.
