Quick report
Observed a glide avalanche across the valley on a SE aspect at about 4900’. In addition, I dug a quick on an E aspect at 4800’ and performed a CT and ECT with no results. The inversion and subsequent atypical variety in surface and weather conditions was impressive/shocking. Noticed some faceting and surface hoar on select slopes. I would expect that it will be wiped out by the rain and warming forecasted for tomorrow.
