For those preferring to maximize time on snow, uploading some Climber’s Trail-ish beta pics. I was able to find my way fairly direct via obvious paths from Climbers Lot TH to a continuous direct snow seam at 6.6K trail cairn, though that seam also continued on down for a bit and did see boarder team hiking at my right a bit below that so may be able to start on snow bit earlier than I did if you start straight up to the right from the TH portapotties. That said, not sure how easily that route intersects the seam. I did note a number of climbers trail signs on my route up the seam despite it intersecting ski area ops at the Salmon Gully terrain park area. Once above Palmer, two ways to stay on snow: 1) straight up along White River Glacier Rim (beware immediately adjacent crevasse fields tho, esp if in the dark. ). This route melts out at 9.5Kish camp area but only briefly before merging with #2 2) ascending left to intersect standard gully route up to Crater Rock.
