Quick report

Climbed the NE Couloir of Mt. Deception, which is obvious avalanche terrain. Snowpack was stable with no signs of instability. A few recent wet loose slides had originated from rock features but there were no visible crowns, no cracking (beyond the breakable crust), and no collapsing snow. Lots of hoar and facets.

A few recent D1 slides originating as wet loose from rock faces. Snowpack was otherwise stable and right side up with a faceted/sugary texture with a half inch+ thick breakable crust
