Quick report
No snow at all to 4700 ft, then full coverage. Snowpack had a good refreeze so we booted all the way up Ruth, but beneath the top few inches east aspects and some souths were quite unconsolidated. Boot penetration was shin deep once the crust broke down and even hip deep in places where the snowpack was thinner. Good skiing on all aspects, even norths above 5500 in the afternoon. Sun cups are still small so the skiing is smooth.
Avalanche
Few natural slabs in steeper terrain, probably from last weekend's warmup.
