10" of light, blower snow on top of an occasionally firmish bottom to start out the day on the ridge of Mt. Judah. Occasional skier triggered sluffs near the ridge were mostly unconsolidated and ran predictably. IT was a busy day, with a steady stream of folks heading out to the Lake Run. Most seemed mindful of hazardous terrain features. As the day progressed, temperatures and humidity increased to above freezing. The new snow consolidated, offering a noticeably heavier texture. At 12:30 I kicked off a small D 0.25 slab on a 35 degree roll over with a 10" crown, that propagated 30' and ran down slope 80'. Not really enough to blurry a skier, however seeing the snow pack gain energy and cohesion through out the morning is worth noting. On the hike out, I sow that another party had kicked off cornice blocks from the ridge near the billboards, which ran the full distance of the bowl.
