Started skinning up to Powderhouse around 7:50am. First lap I skied the North trees, basically directly below the summit. In steeper sections, especially any convex rollovers I was able to trigger small storm slabs. Did not propagate very wide, nor did they slide very long. I skied out them but I would estimate it was the top 3-5” of fresh snow that had fell overnight/this morning. Total new snow depth at the summit was over a foot. The next 2 runs I stuck to the Northwest trees and did not observe any instabilities.
