My crew and I were out in similar terrain around Frog Lake yesterday and the change in conditions due to last nigth's wind was noticeable today. Wind slabs were far more touchy and more snow surfaces were scoured or wind affected. We saw a natural wind slab first thing this morning and found areas of one finger wind slab over fist hard snow from the previous storm. We kicked on some small wind features and triggered small wind slabs on the lower angle terrain below the ridge. Off these slopes we found soft snow near and below treeline. Solar aspects were a mix of crusts, shallow wet new snow over a crust, and at lower elevations wet sticky snow.
