Quick report

Multiple slides were observed in the backcountry adjacent to the ski area. I'm only reporting those that occurred naturally or via likely human trigger; other slides on Hemispheres likely occurred via avalanche control.

Avalanche

Lots of action in the MBSA backcountry today. Witnessed an alleged remote trigger of a widely propagating D1(?)slab in the Horseshoe area/traverse to Elf Chutes by the first party to head that way at around 1045. Also witnessed a natural D2(?) avalanche below the Pyramid on Shuksan Arm at noon; debris covered tracks in Rumble Gully. Fractures below the Hourglass and below Bill's Bulge likely occurred overnight or before mountain operations began.
