Quick report
I headed up to Valhalla Lake and towards Mt McClausland and found variable snow conditions Below 5000' there is a layer of frozen crust above very wet unconsolidated snow, but the crust was not very supportive and I experienced shin to knee-level boot penetration. Seems like it's still not as frozen solid as I'd hoped. Travel down low was difficult due to exposed vegetation and open creek crossings. Above 5k the crust became more supportive and I could stand on it in my boots but still occasionally punched through very deep. These conditions didn't inspire a lot of confidence and I turned around just above the lake and enjoyed some turns on spring-like corn snow. No signs of instability were observed.

Many wet slide debris piles from the recent wet cycle, probably at least a couple days old.
