Consistent snowfall from my 07:00 arrival till around 15:00 when the sun came out. Cold snow was abundant and the ski quality was great. Noticed soft slab formation starting to develop in our new storm snow. In some areas when breaking trail there were shooting cracks propagating down slope from my skis.

Snowpack
Plenty of new snow starting to make a difference in coverage in the trees at 5,000'. In more open areas among the trees I was probing ~160cm depths at 5500'.
