Quick report
You know when you spread a sandwich and nothing is even… it was like that. There were strips of windblown pow on the snowfield. There were also wind scoured icy bits. We followed the hiking trail to the top of pan face— pan face is definitely not in right now. The trail itself is currently either a walk or an adventurous skin. No signs of instability noted though. The zipper and the fly also might not be in at the moment. Also, I found someone’s helmet/ goggles rolling down the snowfield at around 8500ft. I turned it into the visitor center ranger desk at paradise.
