Quick report
Too dark to see up the chute at 6am, but no visible signs of avalanches in the lower part of the chute. Dug 2 snow pits and did my amateur column test. Total snow depth (85-95cm). 2 weak layers popped out at 15 and 25cm on the forearm with force test, both hand taps and forearm with gravity did not have any reactions. There was a 8-10 cm crust at the very top of the snow pack which was noticeably harder that the rest of the snowpack and strong enough to support booting and crampons. I had red flagged the climb today due to the warming conditions and solo travel, so my intention was to dig pits and try my hand at column testing.
