Snowpack

The morning started off with a breakable crust that ruined lap one. By lap two the snow had softened up but was getting wet and heavy in places. We stayed on low angle terrain to avoid the persistent slab danger. By 1pm we were seeing large roller balls that were entraining all the way down to the previous crust. We took that as a sign to leave.
