Quick report
HS = 130 See attached picture for snow profile. We saw rapid warming and had propagation within our ECT test. We did not observe the cornice problem that was listed, but we feel confident that it would have been a problem today if we had traveled further to find it. We identified problems within the snowpack consistent with rapid warming and the persistent layer that has been referenced from the avalanche center. CT 12 RP down 14 cm from surface (pit depth of 120) ECTN 20 down 14 cm CT 17 RP down 44 cm ECTP 30 down 44 cm RB4 down 44 cm We saw loose wet on the road cut during the drive up from Lolo. Key note!! The rapid warming from today could indicate larger Wet Slab problems with continued warming.
