Quick report
The snowpack had lost all cohesion, and I was punching to the ground with skis in thin spots and on exposed ridges. Under the trees, there are only a few inches of snow left. The snowpack has melted and settled at least 10 inches in the last 72 hours. Things are rapidly changing; logs are melting out, and moats around rocks are forming. Near the "G spot," southwest-facing slopes were melted all the way to the ground. Snowpack structure remains poor, we had propagation in extended columns on rounding facets mid-snowpack on an SE aspect at 5200 feet
