Quick report
Above 11500 ft the surface snow was still dry enough to be entrained and transported by wind. However, winds were strong to extreme, and blowing snow was likely sublimating rather than redepositing. South aspects were mostly stripped back to rime ice, although we found some smooth wind buff skiing. We did not investigate other aspects. On our way out around 1pm, we were able to easily kick off roller balls on steep south aspects below about 8000 feet, though none of them entrained snow beyond the initial roller ball. We saw one size 1 wet loose that was likely a day or two old, on a SW aspect around 9000 ft.
