Skied the E facing bowl from phat ridge and saw no visible signs of avalanche activity. A few hand pits on the way up showed solid bonding of the storm slab. We dug a pit at 8000ft on phat ridge and had an ECTX result. Compression test had a Q2 failure around 25 taps at a depth of approximately 120cm. Heard a large section of the snowpack settle late in the day around 7800'. Saw lots of wind transport.
