Warm day, snowing lightly with about 6" of fresh. Isolated cracking on a steep roll on the side of the road. Dug a hand pit and got a Kinco 4 tap from the wrist for a sudden collapse in the facets on a crust about 2' down. Tickled some steep north facing terrain with no results. I tried really hard to trigger some avalanches with no luck. Skied low angle pow. The sled ride in is mud for about 2 miles, don't do it.
