Quick report
We road out today from LTS at about 11:00am an we got up to about 8,000’ elevation an we notice hot balls on slopes greater than 50degrees an about 4-5 inches of hot pot with wet surface snow , the day continued to warm up as we road We dug a pit on a NW aspect & 7,400’ elevation . The height of snow was 106 cm We noice the Jan 13/14 persistent weak layer And the Jan 2 persistent weak layer There were sudden results on the Jan 13/14 but no propagation an sudden results on the dec 16 with no propagation Sky -ovc Wind-light Precip-no Blosno-none
